What are your favorite drawing media?
I enjoy working with a graphite pencil, pen and ink and watercolours. I also work on digital media sometimes. Mostly artweaver, inkscape, Blender and Wings3d.
Tell us a little bit about yourself, so we can approve your request.
I used to be a usability consultant designing software applications. These days I am a Creativity coach, working with companies to help them institute creativity and innovation processes into their daily routine.

I am also an illustrator, and have been drawing from as long back as I can remember. I love drawing so much that I also set up Pencil Sauce, an illustration studio in Bangalore and I still try to introduce a little bit of drawing in my day to day work.

I set up Pencil Jammers as a space where other career professionals like me (actually, just about anyone but evil dictators) can participate in collaborative drawing environments.

I was telling him about the abstract attention-seeking work of the artist who does not know how to draw, and the abstraction of artists who have gone beyond exploring realism. Prabal then articulates it beautifully. "There is a huge difference between Abstracting and the Abstract!"

The conversation then turned to…

Here then is a primer on how to find your way around, and how you can make this site… Continue

Singer's keen eye amazingly breaks down complex visuals to simple pools of colour without breaking the illusion. They are startlingly lifelike.…
