Acrylic on stretched canvas
size - 36 x 24 inches

When you look at the green sea and hear the wind gushing in your eardrums, do you wonder... what makes the sea incessantly throw waves after waves at the beach. And how do the minute grains of sand withstand the mighty current and force of the waves each time the waves over-run their territory. Is it because the grains of sand don't hold on to anything... they never have to break away from anything... yet stay in their place withstanding every onslaught with ease and calmness.
Perhaps faith, love and hope in our lives look for the same things... to not be tied to anything or anybody. Only then can one still find oneself standing... calmly standing ground, rooted yet free.
Are the birds trying to say the same things too...
