The drawing is still incomplete...like many of us who lead an incomplete life, life devoid of true substance of any reckoning. However, we all are, in some way or the other, trying our best to make it meaningful...

I have named the drawing "Life", since the picture shows how one can go up or down over the course of one's life.

The cracks and fissures on the wall are the lines/wrinkles that speak stories of rough and tough times one has gone through...The more you get older, the more lines we see on faces. The cemented patches shows how we have covered and made up for those tought times and one's experience along the way...

The small plants on the steps are the rewards that we get every once in a while that keeps us going...

The uneven and different sized stones/boulders that make the wall are like the unique building blocks of our society that may be ugly and uneven, but stay together so that each one of us has a chance to move up or down as one chooses...

The shadows of the leaves on the wall are like impressions and imprints of other people that keep changing with the constantly changing brightness during the day and the darkness of the night spanning our journey called 'Life'.

I hope you get the interpretation...its just the way I look at things that I come across, every once in a while...

Soman, this drawing is great, the texture of the stones and the steps, the shadows of the leaves.  And, of course your interpretation and philosophy of the scene.

Thank you kannan!

Regarding pencils... the drawing was done with just one grade of pencil, which is the 8B STEADTLER Mars Lumograph pencil... no white pencils, no use of eraser... just the one pencil...

Thank you for your kind words...
